One summer, I traveled to The Bahamas. I went with family and had a great time. That was around 15 years ago. Because it was so long ago I don’t remember much. It was before iPhones! Because of that, I don’t believe there is any video footage of my trip. Surely, we could have carried along an old-school camcorder, which was akin to a large and heavy brick-like object. But I’m sure my mom wouldn’t want to risk any possible damage to it on the beach where water could destroy it.
I do remember riding a wave runner on the water along the coast. There were men on the beach who would rent their wave runners for a great price for, I believe, an hour a ride. Although I was a minor at the time, I was able to take one out. I never fell off! This surprised me even though there were small waves. I suppose I was a little bit extra careful since that was my first time riding one. Now that I think of it, I believe that was the only time I’ve ever been on a wave runner. I’m not sure if I prefer those or snowmobiles!
Because it was summer, the weather was perfect. Palm trees, warm sand, and blue skies were all I would see for miles. It was paradise! The Bahamas, Hawaii, and Seychelles all have that visual setting.
We did not get to The Bahamas via airplane. A cruise ship from Florida had taken us there. It was a Disney cruise. Before we left Disney, we visted my friends Dan and Joey. They happen to own the Best Epoxy Flooring Company In Orlando, which was pretty cool to see since they used to be idiots back when we used to hangout.. On the same trip, we were able to visit another island, which was owned by Disney. I’m sure most people don’t know that Disney owns an island! I wonder if they own more. Visiting The Bahamas was a wonderful experience for me and I hope to return one day.
